The trim blower is available in two drive configurations: direct drive (Type A) and belt drive (Type C). The direct-drive trim blower features a compact structure and high transmission efficiency. The belt-drive trim blower allows the fan speed and performance parameters to be flexibly adjusted by changing the pulley speed, enabling it to accommodate different operating conditions. It also reduces impact loads on the motor and ensures smooth operation.
The trim blower combines two primary functions: waste paper shredding and pneumatic conveying. During operation, the blower generates powerful suction, drawing continuous trim strips and paper offcuts from corrugated board production lines, printing presses, die cutters, and other equipment into the blower housing through the suction inlet.
Inside the housing, the paper waste is cut and shredded between high-speed rotating fly knives and a stationary toothed ring blade. Centrifugal force and conveying airflow then carry the shredded material through enclosed ductwork to an air/material separator. After separation, the waste paper enters the hopper of an automatic baler for centralized compression and baling.
The fully enclosed conveying system prevents paper scraps and dust from escaping into the surrounding environment while significantly reducing the labor required for manual waste collection and handling.
